Methodology, scope and sources+
The CO₂e estimate converts EPA WARM v16 net recycling factors from short tons to kilograms. The material breakdown uses component mass shares from Exhibit 1-6. Network equipment initially uses the desktop CPU profile as a proxy.
The transformer references ABB’s environmental declaration for a 315 kVA distribution unit with aluminum windings; copper-wound models and other capacities can vary widely. eCycle will replace these proxies with actual inventory, weight and classification.
